2015年12月4日，美国环保署（EPA）发布能源之星灯泡规范V2.0版草稿最终版（ENERGY STAR Lamps Specification version 2.0 Draft Final），此标准将在2016年9月生效，并代替现有的V1.1版灯泡标准。
