2013年7月9日,美国环保署（EPA）发布“能源之星灯泡规范V1.0最终版草案（ENERGY STAR Lamps V1.0 Final Draft Specification）”。
新标准将在2014年9月1日生效，EPA鼓励利益相关者发表建议或意见，联系地址是lamps@energystar.gov，信息收集的截止日期是2013年7月23日。
请注意，除非标记有“不要发表”的字样，EPA收到的意见将被张贴到www.energystar.gov /lamps。
